I have over a decade of experience in Machine Learning Research and Development, and several years in Content Writing, project and people management. I hold a PhD in AI from the University of Cambridge. I gained valuable insights from the industry while working on AI Safety and using AI to fight against Harmful Content on Social Media. I’m a generalist by nature and like to exploit the unusual combinations of engineering, humanities and arts.

After years of reflection, I realised that my meaning lies in bringing the best out of human connections and communities. I pursue this mission in two ways. Firstly, by leveraging technology for positive impact and advocating for responsible development. Secondly, through consulting and mentoring. I aim to cultivate a trust-based work environment, tapping into people’s intrinsic motivations by helping them figure out the core aims they want to achieve, using AI or other creative solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a variety of data types, including text, images, videos, speech, and audio. My career has spanned research, engineering, writing, strategy development, project leadership, and the mentorship and management of teams.
